Our School

Arden was originally constructed in 1914 as Arden Elementary School serving grades one through eight. It originally had a small auditorium with a wooden bungalow on each side.  Arden became an intermediate school, serving seventh and eighth grades only, during the 1965-1966 school year.

Additions and renovations continued for the next 50 years!   In 2021 we opened the completely new and improved Arden facility which sits just behind where the old campus was located.  Arden now boasts state of the art science labs, high technology classrooms, a high school level gymnasium and fitness room, purpose built art, choir and band rooms and much much more.

Arden is a 6-8 public middle school in the San Juan Unified School District.  We serve roughly 1000 students from the surrounding communities.  We offer a variety of programs such as honors, AVID, special education and English learners.  Our students participate in a wide range of sports, clubs and extracurricular activities.  We encourage you to learn more about our school from our website and we always welcome questions via email or by phone.  Go Panthers!
